After 30 years, I can confidently and proudly say that I am a writer and an artist.

 

I started writing short stories when I was in first grade. A few years later, my grandma gave me my first journal. Then, poetry and art became my outlet during middle school and high school years.

 

I lost my way for about a decade. Work became my identity. Little by little I forgot who I was.

In 2024, I went back to therapy. It’s been a journey reconnecting with who I am, and I am so honored to share a bit of that here.
